Bring your loved one — or a table of close friends — and slow down for an evening by the fireplace. A complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival, a special "to share" menu for two designed around comfort and warmth and the full à la carte if you'd prefer to choose your own way through the night.

Prawn Cocktail. R145
Poached prawns on a bed of crisp iceberg lettuce with a Marie Rose sauce lifted with brandy and Worcestershire, finished with lemon wedges and a scatter of paprika.
Mains to share
Steak & Ale Pie. R325
Chunks of beef slow-braised in dark ale with onions, mushrooms and carrots, topped with a golden puff pastry lid, brought whole to the table and served with chips and garden peas.
Dessert to share
Bread and Butter Pudding. R150
A warm bread and butter pudding made with our homemade bread, studded with raisins and baked golden, served with a jug of warm brandy custard.
